Where the Story Began…
The roots of Al-Ma’sara Al-Wataniya for Tahini and Halva go back to the city of Lydda – Palestine, where the late Hajj Shaker Salim Al-Akash was born in 1938, into a family renowned for mastering the art of tahini and halva using pure sesame seeds only, without any additives or artificial ingredients.
The family established their first tahini mill in 1920, laying down a principle that has remained unchanged for generations: our products are made from pure sesame, with honesty and uncompromising quality.
Hajj Shaker carried this legacy with pride, working with his own hands, and taught his children that the secret of quality lies in purity, and that any artificial addition would compromise the authentic taste and trust of customers.
